I sent this letter to Slade Gorton well before the Civil rights hearings 
in August 7, 1997. 

Well before he stated that the Kidd , federal petition that was aired 
on Mike Reagan , would go nowhere. 

He then stated to the media , that the state did not need a federal 
investigation , the state needed and was capable of doing its own 
investigations. 

Vikki Wallen who covered up Hope's raping from the Governor's office 
was then appointed by the Legislature in the middle of the night move < 
Called an emergency hearing > as the Washington state Ombudsman for families 
and children. She was appointed by the same Senators , Zarilli, Hargrove, 
Long, and Stevens, who had evidence 
of the crimes in my case and others who had testified before them in the 
civil rights hearings, I named Vikki Wallen as a defendant in my law suit to 
the Civil rights subcommittee in those hearings and her appointment was 
already in the making , then.
